Aims: aimed at treasurers of small charities, people who are considering being treasurers, and other trustees/committee members who might have to look after the money because no-one else can be found to do it.
Content:
- Looking after other people's money (Legal requirements and governance)
- Writing everything down (Bookkeeping)
- Keeping an eye on everything (Budgeting and monitoring)
- Telling the world what you are doing (Annual report and accounts, and OSCR's requirements)"
A unique selling point would be that anyone who has attended the course would be entitled to have, at a mutually convenient later date and time, up to one hour of mentoring from me on the specific issues affecting their charity.
